A Yarn Hunt On Another Sunny Day In Florida

I love this Idea.   I found it while looking at  knitty
Knityz

I found out this week that this  ENTIRE  complex, of maybe 200 condos,

D O E S   N O T   R E C Y C L E ! ! !I am apalled!  My hubby has 3 bags of cans and other plastic and glass that he somehow can’t throw in the dumpster.   Yesterday he reluctlently threw away the newspapers. UNBELIEVABLE.   I guess that explains all the plastic   I see on my walks thrown down in the areas that they set aside for drainage (like the ones you see along highway exits).I also see buzzards and hope that what they are circling in the woody area is not human.  There are four big mothers circling every morning.   There is also a set of beautiful cranes on the other side of the road where a pond has formed in a man made meadow that has filled up with drainage water.  There are a lot of brick walls encircling the complexes and in the lattace work are little lizards.  On the first day we say a man from a distance hunching over the wall and jumping over some of them.  When we got close we saw he had a rubber band and was shooting it at the wall.   I asked him what he was hunting and he said lizards for his pet snake.  There you go, everyone eats.I’ve got some of my pictures on flickr and while hunting on the site I found my email address to send pictures from my phone camera. Here is a picture taken with my phone around January 16th in Atlantic City in the outlet mall area. It’s mild enough there for flowers in the winter. I am surprised by the quality of the picture. Multimedia message Yesterday afternoon I got my hair cut at Fantastic Sams and a mani and pedicure at the place next door.   I’m all spiffed up.  While I was at the nail place I saw that the woman doing my nails had her license displayed (that was a new experience) and she was from Winter Garden.   Click - I remembered that the woman at SNB (whose name escapes me at the moment - her husband just took the bar exam) has family in Winter Haven or Winter Garden and said there was a yarn store there.  So I asked her if there was a yarn store there and she said yes on 535.   Guess where I’m going today? And as long as I’m showing pictures, this is my grandson, with the cell phone grandma gave him for his birthday. I love when he just calls to chat. He hasn’t texed me yet! You can see his little brother Jake in the background. They are coming down to visit on the 18th of February and Jake (3) keeps asking his mother every time they get in the car “are we going to Florida now?”

dunno
